Sales Representative
Job Scope
  • Execute sales with existing and potential customers by performing the following:
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide solutions to existing and potential customer’s problems/concerns.
  • Prepare sales information for customers.
  • Manage assigned accounts and territory.
  • Call prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer supplier relationship.
  • Increase sales in respective accounts.
  • Establish buying influences, budgets, and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts.
  • Secure and place orders considering delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to Director of Sales by assigned dates.
  • Assist other sales representatives as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
  • Some college coursework
  • College graduate preferred
Other Qualifications:
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to exercise independent judgment
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years outside sales experience
  • Outside sales experience within Office Equipment Industry preferred
